Kind of hard to follow at first but worth sticking with it

Might be a 3-4 star as the story is decent, if sometimes wandering and unclear. The abandoned story loses another star. So fair warning this in NOT complete.

Podcast Addict16 years agounsubstantiated_i was listening to this while i was quarantining in a cabin on a cruise ship where there were no passengers but some of the crew left. the story about scientists on a ship sure made my escapistic nature act up but the haunting feeling of some danger watching me from afar as i sit on deck 12 at night and look in the abyss of the sea is something i will remember forever. -1 point only for the characters that weren't layered enough to be attached to.

Bonus points for getting Zach Libresco because is it really a sci-fi podcast if he isn't involved in some way?

Concept is interesting and acting is okay - both actresses who play Reva Luther are terrible so it’d be better without them. They’re classic overactors. Rest is okay. Sound quality got a lot better over the episodes.

I listened to this in my car. The volume on the first few supplemental episodes and the minisodes was so low that they were unintelligible, even with my cars volume and the phone volume both set as high as possible. Same with the “taped” voices.
I’m fairly certain I’ve missed something important, but I’ve no idea what.
Concept is interesting, and the voice acting - what I could hear - was great.
