  • Timmy G has made a massive difference

The show is chalk & cheese with Timmy G in board. I switched off a few years ago as all you got was dribble from Crowey & one of the most biased sports shows around. Timmy G a living Port Adelaide Legend has turned that around into a listenable Sports Show again

  • Annoying but good guests- upgraded to 4 stars since Timmy G started

Rowers lack of intellect and OTT personality is affronting and annoying, but his guests make this show worth listening to. Timmy G offers a more balanced approach than Feral Rowey.

Timmy G & Campo Podcast - 20 July 2026
Q: What was the outcome of the Darcy Fogarty tribunal ruling?
The tribunal upheld the three-game suspension, with explanations around the interpretation of the act as a strike versus a tackle and the duty of care.
INTERVIEW: Paul Wade - 20 July 2026
Q: Did you think Argentina too, five yellows and one red in this final?
The guests suggested it was a tactical dynamic where Argentina's aggressive pressing and cards reflected a commitment to disruption, but ultimately Spain's methodical approach and rotations managed the game and kept them from exploiting any weaknesses.
INTERVIEW: Luke Webster - 21 July 2026
Q: How do you assess the challenge of upcoming games against Brisbane, and what needs to be proven to hold the system against top sides?
Webster points to the need for players to execute the fundamentals, defend behind stoppages, and demonstrate continuity of the game plan against quality opposition, while using the Brisbane match as a test of whether the team can hold up against the best in the league.
INTERVIEW: Luke Webster - 21 July 2026
Q: With several senior players out, how do you keep the group motivated and prepare for the remaining five weeks?
He emphasizes not wasting the five weeks, focusing on learning and belief in the system, and using opportunities for younger players to grow and prove themselves, while maintaining competitive intensity.
INTERVIEW: Luke Webster - 21 July 2026
Q: What were the key indicators that the team couldn't maintain the performance in the second half, and how did Fremantle expose those areas?
Webster explains that pressure drops, tackle attempts decrease, and Fremantle are excellent at absorbing pressure and breaking through the contest, which allowed them to transition through the corridor and utilize their perimeter players. This led to a shift in momentum in the second half.
