  • What Sumich just dished up isn’t suitable for a dogs breakfast.

Oh gosh just when I thought you guys were on the upside you bring Sumich back on to smash mouth Fremantle by picking out just about every player to shoot holes in them. Yes I’m a Fremantle supporter and NOBODY knows what’s around the corner but him speculating on what ifs with injuries that may happen was a pathetic topic of conversation and we had no idea what he was rambling on about. Only listened to him hoping he’d give a some insight into what they’re training like but as usual he’s clueles... more

  • Landsmeer is quality

Credit where credit is due, Jacob Landsmeer does a great job on this show and is great to listen to if you’re a sports fan. One of the best broadcasters going around in WA at the moment I reckon.

Sports Breakfast- Ash Ramm (21/05/2026)
Q: Ash, before we let you go, is this the time of year where people come into your store looking for where to head to outside of Perth, whether north or elsewhere for a bit of fun and a line in the water?
Absolutely. People travel both north and south along the WA coast during this season, and the store is a great starting point to pick up gear and local knowledge for specific destinations like Durian, Ningaloo, Bremer Bay, and Esperance.
Sports Breakfast- Ash Ramm (21/05/2026)
Q: Ash, I saw a couple of reports about Spanish mackerel, some caught off the North Mole, you know, late at night and all that sort of stuff. Does that happen very often, or is that sort of an unusual occurrence?
Yes, it can happen. Spanish mackerel can show up in our region even in later winter months, especially when water temps are favorable, though it's not the most regular pattern and tends to be situational.
Sports Breakfast- Brad Dodd (20/05/2026)
Q: Will mid-season rookie draft selections affect Perth, and how does the club view these opportunities?
Brad notes AFL clubs guard their plans, so while a move for players would be fantastic, the club focuses on preparation and supporting players regardless of whether they are drafted, with final decisions made as the draft unfolds.
Sports Breakfast- Brad Dodd (20/05/2026)
Q: What does a non-WAFL weekend look like for a Foody boss?
Brad explains that while players have weekends off for personal sessions, the staff uses the time to observe and support development, and he personally attends his kids' games, highlighting the work-life balance involved in managing a football club.
Sports Breakfast- Max Burey (20/05/2026)
Q: What are your early memories of the game and the pathway that led you to where you are now?
Max recalled growing up with older brothers in Wagga Wagga and the moment he first wanted to play professionally after seeing high-level teams come to town, illustrating a personal journey shaped by family support and local rugby culture.
