  • What Sumich just dished up isn’t suitable for a dogs breakfast.

Oh gosh just when I thought you guys were on the upside you bring Sumich back on to smash mouth Fremantle by picking out just about every player to shoot holes in them. Yes I’m a Fremantle supporter and NOBODY knows what’s around the corner but him speculating on what ifs with injuries that may happen was a pathetic topic of conversation and we had no idea what he was rambling on about. Only listened to him hoping he’d give a some insight into what they’re training like but as usual he’s clueles... more

  • Landsmeer is quality

Credit where credit is due, Jacob Landsmeer does a great job on this show and is great to listen to if you’re a sports fan. One of the best broadcasters going around in WA at the moment I reckon.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Sports Breakfast- Rylie Morgan (07/08/2026)
Q: So that's your best for the day. We play one more. Are you happy with just those two?
We also consider adding a value play in race 3 (discretion) to supplement the two best bets, creating a compact, value-oriented multi with potential upside across the program.
Sports Breakfast- Rylie Morgan (07/08/2026)
Q: Can you find a few?
Yes, we identify a couple of strong options early on, focusing on races 1 and 2 with clearly favorable set-ups and drawn positions, then add a prudent pick in race 3 before evaluating race 5 for value.
Sports Breakfast- Adam Read (31/07/2026)
Q: How does the unusually high availability of players affect Peel's development strategy this year?
It's a statistical outlier, but it's allowed us to push younger players into meaningful roles while keeping AFL-listed players sharp, which helps overall development and team performance.
Sports Breakfast- Adam Read (31/07/2026)
Q: What's the directive for Fremantle players who aren't in the AFL side this week?
The directive is to stay ready and keep performing well; if a spot opens up, they'll be in a position to take it, but the priority is to stay prepared and push for selection when the opportunity arises.
Sports Breakfast- Adam Read (31/07/2026)
Q: How did you reflect on the win over Subiaco and the way Peel handled the game after falling behind early?
We stayed with our process, made a small structural adjustment at stoppages, and trusted our plan. The team showed resilience to claw back from a deficit and finish strongly, which reflected the depth and belief in our system.
