This pod has great discussions of all the new Star Wars things, but my favorite episode was actually a comparison of the French Dub of A New Hope. Also, Arezou is great. She wrote me a fan-fic about Gamorrean Guards. đŸ·

  • Nobody more qualified to lead a Star Wars show.

The Geeky Waffle team has a special program here on their hands. Also, I mean...Adam Driver is bound to be a fixture for the enti... more

She emphasizes that world-building, power structures, and personal motivations unify fantasy, historical fiction, and science fiction, making the storytelling approach across genres feel continuous rather than siloed.
Legacy Expo Interview - Barbara Hambly
Q: Why do you think romance is important in Star Wars and how does it affect the storytelling?
Hambly argues romance adds an emotional resonance that can anchor epic plots, as long as it serves character development and the broader story, rather than feeling like an add-on.
Legacy Expo Interview - Barbara Hambly
Q: The first thing I wanted to actually ask you, how did you start writing fan fiction?
Hambly explains she began early, writing Oz stories and Sherlock Holmes fan fiction as a way to practice writing and to learn storytelling techniques, ultimately using those early works to develop skill in characterization and dialogue.
