  • Thank you

Over the last five years, I had to stop listening to most of my usual Star Wars podcasts because they seemed to lose their sense of love and fun with Star Wars. I recently found Blast Points, and feel very lucky that I did. It felt like a breath of fresh air. You guys know how to have fun with the small and large details of the saga. I love all of the subjects you guys talk about, including the love for Indiana Jones. Thank you guys for keeping the spirit of joy alive with all things LucasFil... more

  • Too accurate for Sand People

Jason and Gabe must gave come across Mark T saying find something you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life. Their genuine love for Star Wars is contagious and inspirational. The conversation adventure these two take us on weekly is high energy, sincere, and unlike anything else I’ve found discussing and examining a our beloved galaxy far far away.

  • This podcast is my happy place

I am picky when it comes to my Star Wars podcasts. This one is my favorite of them all. The perfect blend of humor and delightfully esoteric content. And the impressions--oh the impressions!

I laugh out loud at least once (but often far more) every episode. Like actual belly laughs. Absolutely the best.

Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Episode 452 - LUCAS WARS with LAURENT HOPMAN and RENAUD ROCHE
Q: What was your research process like to illustrate the people behind Star Wars?
It was challenging due to the limited pictures available, requiring some interpretation.
Episode 452 - LUCAS WARS with LAURENT HOPMAN and RENAUD ROCHE
Q: How did you come up with the idea of starting with George Lucas possibly at his lowest state?
We wanted to hook the reader right away and build empathy for our main character.
Episode 452 - LUCAS WARS with LAURENT HOPMAN and RENAUD ROCHE
Q: Have either of you done much with comics before this book?
This is my first graphic novel as a scriptwriter, my own project.
MARGIT PFEIFFER - ANDOR Roundtable Interview at Lucasfilm
Q: How did you build the sound design for the torture scenes?
The absence of specific sounds was used effectively to evoke fear and suspense, focusing instead on the actors' breath and panic to heighten the tension without revealing the nature of the torture itself.
MARGIT PFEIFFER - ANDOR Roundtable Interview at Lucasfilm
Q: How do you approach designing the sounds for speeches in Andor?
Each speech has its own character and emotional weight. For Mon Mothma's, it involved juxtaposing her performance with the crowd's reaction to heighten the effect. Each speech required different sound design and elements to create the desired impact.
