  • A Purr‑fectly Stellar Experience!

Space Cats Peace Turtles is an absolute cosmic delight. You don’t have to be a cat person, a turtle person, or even a space‑faring mammal to enjoy it — this show is for every kind of animal lover. Whether you bark, chirp, hiss, or casually graze in a meadow, you’ll find something here to make your tail wag.

The hosts deliver strategy, humor, and intergalactic nonsense with such charm that I found myself paws‑itively glued to every episode. Their insights are so sharp, even a goldfish would reme... more

  • JJ Meta is too blame

If you’ve never played Twilight Imperium, you should start so that you have an excuse to listen to these guys. Or just learn the rules and mind palace it - either is valid.

  • Great TI4 content

Love their TI4 content but would also like a DS9 episode or four. Heck a few other episodes for other sci-fi series would be bad either (suggesting after re-watching all of Stargate recently).

450: Twilight Imperium Content Creator Summit! (Featuring Cardboard Crash Course and the TI Junkies)
Q: How do you see Thunder's Edge changing TI for new and existing players?
Thunder's Edge adds a zany, more expansive vibe with new factions and mechanics that make the game feel bigger, more chaotic, and more streamable without alienating base-game players.
450: Twilight Imperium Content Creator Summit! (Featuring Cardboard Crash Course and the TI Junkies)
Q: What is Cardboard Crash Course aiming to deliver and for whom?
CCC is designed for beginners who want a clear, visual crash course to understand Twilight Imperium beyond the rulebook, contrasting with Space Cats' deeper-dive content for more experienced players.
SCPT Interview: Old King's Crown Designer Pablo Clark
Q: What is your background with Twilight Imperium or Space Cats Peace Turtles, the show?
Pablo explains his background in animation and AAA video games, and how his work on Old King's Crown sits adjacent to the Twilight Imperium community, with a focus on world-building, faction design, and narrative themes rather than just the mechanical core. He notes he's not deeply fluent in Twilight Imperium rules, but enjoys the adjacent culture and the community's enthusiasm for complex, long-form strategy games.
424: POK Mailbag Farewell! (Also Matt Announcement)
Q: Is Matt going to be coming back to the show for the expansion?
Matt may not be a part of the show in any meaningful capacity moving forward but will return as a guest for special episodes, especially around the new expansion.
424: POK Mailbag Farewell! (Also Matt Announcement)
Q: Why has Matt not been on the podcast lately?
Matt's absence has been mainly due to scheduling conflicts and a lack of time for Twilight Imperium since his work and Hunter's work times do not align well currently.
