I certainly have enjoyed listening to Southern mysteries podcasts! Living in the Southeast, I can easily relate to the people in places in these stories. Shannon Ballard speaks slowly, clearly and annunciates her words perfectly! I also like that in the ones I have listened to, the victims are given respect and dignity, no matter their place in life.

While the theme of the podcast is true crime, which—admittedly—isn’t always heartwarming, the pod feels more and more like the hostess seeking an opportunity to wax eloquent with Lisa Simpson Syndrome.
