Eric, I have left you a review before, but I just had to tell you that your interview with Chris Pouy is fascinating!! I remember seeing his mother on TV as a child! Thank you for having him on to tell his story, that should be a much more well known story. I hope it gets the attention of a producer because it would make an excellent movie or series!
This show is a real experience. It’s not like listening to one person interview another—it’s more of a Storytelling Experience, with a ragtime aesthetic.

Most people can’t do that and occasionally it causes the guest to add some unplanned intriguing comment. I’m also a great admirer of Erik’s books—the re... more
I will not follow or support a show that accepts disgusting advertising for ICE, which is destroying our due process rights. When the show stops accepting this advertising I will return. Very sorry I really liked the show but am appalled at the advertising choices.
eric, i can’t follow a show that doesn’t push back on this administration’s assault on truth. as a close reader, you know sometimes you must act. good luck!
Okay, so I’ve been a fan of this most excellent podcast and its host for a long time, and I’m just now writing a review - shame on me - but Erik Rivenes knows how to interview an author right. Unlike many interviewers who like to hear themselves talk, Erik gives the guest permission to take center stage. Almost all of the interviews I’ve listened to are fascinating because the guest gets to tell us why his or her book has demanded their passion, and that never disappoints.
