Always a good time listening to soder. Love the old stories and I really like hearing about stand up. Gives me an insight as to all the work that gets put in. Also good job letting the guests speak. Not an issue with me just always gets mentioned
Love your ability to recall memories! That being said, please stop talking over most guests. Thank you!
I don’t know Dan Soder. Never met the guy. I don’t know Mike McDaniel. Never met him either, but I remember my middle school best friends and listening to these two reminisce was a joy. Dudes are bad at telling each other how they feel. We make fun of each other and talk about nonsense and all of the stupid things we used to do when we should probably just say “I love you.” Great episode.
I listen to anything with Soder and this podcast is hilarious. Haven’t missed a episode yet and we’re at 129 🥳 Keep Up the Great Work Soder & Mike
Dan used to be one of my favorite hosts back in the bonfire days. I didn’t even know he had a podcast until recently. I was so excited! Gave it a listen and I could barely get through one episode. It’s not funny for such a funny guy, I don’t know how you’re making such an unfunny podcast. Leaving the bonfire was tragic.

The show leans into long-form, conversational interviews with comedians and entertainers, centering on craft, career evolution, and the realities of touring, media, and culture. Episodes frequently blend personal stories, industry observations, and off-the-cuff banter about everything from writing jokes and stage life to pop culture, current events, and the business side of being a performer. A standout feel is the candid, unfiltered humor and the mix of veteran comics and rising talents, along with occasional crossovers into music, wrestling, and provocative comedy. Listeners can expect relaxed pacing, sharp banter, and guest-driven conversations that often veer into philosophy, memory, and identity through a comedic lens.
