Q: How did you come to write for Ted Lasso and what was the process like?
Jamie Lee explains that she entered through an acting connection, tested for a pilot, and was encouraged by Bill Lawrence after he saw her on Crashing; the process involved collaboration with a writer's room and colleagues, with a focus on clear character voices that made writing for Roy and Keely particularly enjoyable.

It highlights the ups and downs of the comedy business and the reality of ideas being pitched and developed without proper credit.
