  • Keepin It Strong Style & Rich Latta are the crown jewels

The hosts of KISS have great chemistry and the Young Boy, especially, watches everything. As someone who doesn’t have the time to, I appreciate that he does and summarizes the latest happenings.

Rich Latta is a smart, funny, passionate guy and I would listen to him talk about subjects other than wrestling.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Wrestling Art w/ Chris Things Ep. 110 - Wrestling Art Curator Edition w/ Bruce Arthurs
Q: What drew you to Lucha Libre-inspired art?
Bruce explains the pull comes from the dynamic poses in real-life wrestling and the storytelling that emerges from masks and personas, plus the cultural nostalgia of Mexican wrestling cinema.
Keepin' It Strong Style - EP 433 - New Japan Cup 2026 Round 2 Review
Q: What did you think about the Yuya Uemura vs Drilla Maloney finish and the way the roll-up was executed?
The finish was polarizing; one host found it satisfying as a clever reversal and payoff, while the other felt it undermined Drilla Maloney's protected finisher and raised questions about the booking logic for a rising star like Yuya Uemura.
Keepin' It Strong Style - EP 433 - New Japan Cup 2026 Round 2 Review
Q: Brian, what were your thoughts on Shingo Takagi vs Don Fale in the opening night review match?
Shingo looked like a clear favorite, the finish felt decisive but the match also highlighted Fale's limitations at this stage and his struggle with timing and selling; the overall sense was that Shingo carried the match and delivered a strong opening statement for the tournament despite some storytelling limitations.
Keepin’ It Strong Style - EP 432 - New Japan Cup Round 1 Review W/ EmJayDoesPR
Q: What's the state of Aaron Wolf's push and development in NJPW right now?
The hosts agree that Aaron Wolf is on a deliberate development path, with a steady progression through structured matches and previews, rather than being thrust into top-tier title programs too quickly; the long-term goal is to build him into a credible, crowd-supported player for bigger shows.
Keepin' It Strong Style - EP 427 - Road to the New Beginning Heats Up
Q: If AJ Styles does one more match if he wants to in New Japan, would you be interested in AJ versus Suji for the world title?
Yes, that match would definitely elevate Suji's run and give him credibility by beating a former multi-time champion, AJ Styles.
