  • Keepin It Strong Style & Rich Latta are the crown jewels

The hosts of KISS have great chemistry and the Young Boy, especially, watches everything. As someone who doesn’t have the time to, I appreciate that he does and summarizes the latest happenings.

Rich Latta is a smart, funny, passionate guy and I would listen to him talk about subjects other than wrestling.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Keepin' It Strong Style - EP 451 - G1 Climax 36 Nights 2 & 3 Review
Q: Which wrestler has impressed you most so far in the tournament?
Takashita and Suji stood out as the top performers, with Suji drawing praise for carrying the champion role in main events, while Takashita's match quality and consistency kept him as a strong frontrunner in terms of performance.
Keepin' It Strong Style - EP 447 - Road to G1 Climax Night 3 & Forbidden Door 2026 Preview
Q: Do you think Forbidden Door has lost its luster due to perceptions that New Japan doesn't have stars left to elevate?
They acknowledge the criticism but argue that top-level interaction remains valuable for pay-per-view draws and cross-promotional exposure, suggesting the focus should shift to leveraging ongoing stories and bringing over strong outside talent while continuing to develop internal stars.
Wrestling Art w/ Chris Things Ep. 110 - Wrestling Art Curator Edition w/ Bruce Arthurs
Q: What drew you to Lucha Libre-inspired art?
Bruce explains the pull comes from the dynamic poses in real-life wrestling and the storytelling that emerges from masks and personas, plus the cultural nostalgia of Mexican wrestling cinema.
Keepin' It Strong Style - EP 433 - New Japan Cup 2026 Round 2 Review
Q: What did you think about the Yuya Uemura vs Drilla Maloney finish and the way the roll-up was executed?
The finish was polarizing; one host found it satisfying as a clever reversal and payoff, while the other felt it undermined Drilla Maloney's protected finisher and raised questions about the booking logic for a rising star like Yuya Uemura.
Keepin' It Strong Style - EP 433 - New Japan Cup 2026 Round 2 Review
Q: Brian, what were your thoughts on Shingo Takagi vs Don Fale in the opening night review match?
Shingo looked like a clear favorite, the finish felt decisive but the match also highlighted Fale's limitations at this stage and his struggle with timing and selling; the overall sense was that Shingo carried the match and delivered a strong opening statement for the tournament despite some storytelling limitations.
