I love hearing all the news about cozy gaming, and I think they do an amazing job planning out the segments of the show! I look forward to listening to the new show every week!
I used to really look forward to this every week. But the banter is getting a little distracting and it feels like they donāt take this seriously anymore. Maybe Iām falling out with the cozy game community, but none of the games seem worth it anymore and the hosts donāt make me feel like itās worth sticking around. Iāve moved onto other gaming podcasts that have real conversations about gaming. And Payton really seems like she needs to take an extended break from this. She seems uninterested. An... more

I used to like this podcast but nowadays most of the time it feels they donāt even play the games they talk about. Itās all about superficial hype and no meaningful discussions. Plus, they can be really negative towards indie developers that have poured their hearts into their work, and I find that very inconsiderate.
Slow Burn Podcast was tough to stick with. The hosts spend more time bragging about dev partnerships and free game keys than actually discussing cozy games. Payten repeatedly brings up her illness in a way that feels more like a plea for sympathy than genuine openness, and the trio often act as if theyāre major creators when they really arenāt. If you want a cozyāgaming podcast thatās warm, respectful, and actually focused on games, Tea With Honey is a far better choice.

A cozy-games focused discussion show driven by three regular hosts who banter warmly about indie and mainstream cozy titles, share recommendations, and read audience emails. Episodes cover underrated cozy games, industry news, game mechanics, and personal experiences from content creators, often weaving in viewer questions, polls, and live reactions to new releases. Notable is the mix of long-form conversations, community engagement, and recurring segments where hosts highlight titles they believe deserve more attention, while balancing enthusiasm with occasional critique. The format tends to feel like a casual hangout with expert-ish opinions, making it helpful for listeners who want friendly recommendations, learning about game developmen... more
