I like these two. I followed them since the Nintendo minute days, but recently, a lot of their podcasts have been titled in… inflammatory questions?? That’s the best way I can describe it. Saying things that draw ire or what has Nintendo messed up lately makes me want to listen less and less. It’s now been a while since I’ve listened to an episode and when an episode just starts playing from my podcast feed, I skip it or ignore what is being said. So right up front, the hosts issue a disclaimer that they might not actual agree with the side they're advocating for?
Look, if I wanted to listen to lawyers hedge their bets, I'd watch a procedural television show. This is a good show, but is it too much to ask that the hosts share their actual thoughts? It's a shame they're so PR-trained that they hem and haw about what they personally believe, and it makes a pod like this much worse.
