One of my favorite poetry podcasts. Intelligent look at craft and the poetry community.
I am frustrated by pretty much every episode I try to listen to. The pacing is too slow, and Smith’s voice is unanimated. I like the poems of his I’ve read, and he gets great guests, but listening is too much suffering.
My new favorite podcast on poetry. I even splurged on the secret show now. Fair and intelligent look at formal poetry. Includes both discussions and poem readings. Best episode so far is the one with Joshua Mehigan. Would love to hear more interviews with Gertrude Schnackenberg, A. E. Stallings, Adam Kirsch, William Logan, Geoffrey Brock or David Saint John.
Interesting takes on poetry and the poetry community at large.
Sleerickets is the best poetry podcast around—funny, smart, surprising, and occasional moving, as well.
