  • Great perspective but..

While the podcast itself has good intentions, and I love getting Juliet’s perspective on it, and I also enjoy Dru’s inputs now and then.. the tangents, breaking out into song (that hold no purpose or contribute to the shows effectiveness whatsoever), are all too frequent and take away from those who actually enjoy hearing an actors point of view on a show they were involved with for so long and on a show that specifically had and continues to have such a positive impact today. • Unlistenable.

What even is this? A lady who guest starred a few times reading a bunch of facts they looked up on the Buffy wiki. Oh, and the “banter” between her and Dru is pure cringe. Consider yourself warned!

  • Needs to be Re-Re-Vamped

It pains me to write this, as I want to support someone whose work has meant so much to me, but this podcast is unbearable. I was so excited when it was announced, as she was the first Buffy alumni to create a rewatch podcast.

The first iteration had two cohosts that were a really odd choice. Their input was always so off the wall and obsessed over references that the average person would have no understanding of. It was just a rambling mess.

Now the format has changed, and it’s not any bette... more

  • More episode discussions

It started off well, glad I got to catch the first episodes before the rebrand which discussed the new first few episodes. Enjoy listening to Juliet Landau as Drusilla’s one of my fave Buffy characters so it is fun to hear from Scooby Dru. Interviews with different cast members and crew are great, although it is a bit jarring the way it cuts off at the end of a part.

There was a long break without rewatching episodes, but they have started up again, really glad to have more of those to listen to... more

Interview with the Anointed One – Andrew Ferchland Part 1
Q: What were you told or coached to include in your portrayal of the Anointed One?
