United Statesa year ago The tantalising mysteries and interesting sci-fi concepts feed off from the stellar soundscape and voice performances. The narration can get preachy at times when the main character decides to lecture the in-setting audience about rather mundane topics (I found it hard to care about internet grifters when there was F L O A T H I L L waiting in there, somewhere), but due to the relaxed atmosphere, those episodes are neat to fall asleep on.

I didn't know what to expect coming into this, but I was engaged with the narrator right away, and the sound design felt very immersive. It's easy to lose yourself in the world that this show takes place in.

Interesting concept and fun protagonist who really gives off tired mod vibes. It does go very slowly though and you do have to be attentive. Not really a “keep on in the background” sort of show since a lot of details and explanation are shared. But it’s a really cool world and it’s worth the attentiveness. Looking forward to more updates!
