Written at the end of season 1 - Great sound design and writing. Narrator Kael Brown is great and eminently listenable. Fascinating mystery.
This resonates so hard with me. The realization that you’re left behind by advancing technology or you’re unable to access it due to things you can’t control…this is so well written.
one of those shows that really Sticks in your mind in a really prominent way. its not exactly haunting me but like. it's not not haunting me. y'know
This is one my favorite fictional podcasts that's actually a podcast! Or whatever we'll call podcasts in the future. Corporate overreach, parasocial relationships, and more when you're just trying to survive a local apocalypse. It's great!

The tantalising mysteries and interesting sci-fi concepts feed off from the stellar soundscape and voice performances. The narration can get preachy at times when the main character decides to lecture the in-setting audience about rather mundane topics (I found it hard to care about internet grifters when there was F L O A T H I L L waiting in there, somewhere), but due to the relaxed atmosphere, those episodes are neat to fall asleep on.
Quite a fascinating show! Great voice acting, world building and the atmosphere!
I didn't know what to expect coming into this, but I was engaged with the narrator right away, and the sound design felt very immersive. It's easy to lose yourself in the world that this show takes place in.
The first season is amazing! The monologues are great! The second gets a little off topic, overly critical and the style of speaking does not lend itself to dialogue. But that's ok. It's a good listen.
Is mundane science fiction a category? Because this is the perfect example of it. An engaging and well thought out world shown through a prism of day-to-day life. I highly recommend it
Perfectly captures the feeling of hobbyist forums, using the format to explore some innovative cyberpunk ideas.
this very quickly became one of my favorite podcasts. I love the framing device and the world building.
One of my favorite shows of 2022. Brilliant cyberpunk concept. Deft sound design. And a clever and unique spin on the audio logs format. Listening to Sinkhole feels like you're digging back through a thread of old posts on some site because there's some new rabbit hole you've stumbled upon. It's incredible. Original. And it should be your next sci-fi obsession.
Interesting concept and fun protagonist who really gives off tired mod vibes. It does go very slowly though and you do have to be attentive. Not really a “keep on in the background” sort of show since a lot of details and explanation are shared. But it’s a really cool world and it’s worth the attentiveness. Looking forward to more updates!
