Absolutely superb podcast. By far the most informative podcast out there on the Russia/Ukraine war.
Jonathan is an amazing podcast host and I often wonder how he can get such great guests- his interviews are always interesting and informative because he covers all the subjects and asks such insightful questions.
The dedication of him and his wonderful guests is so valuable .
I wish I could keep leaving glowing reviews for this wonderful show but it only seems to let me post one.
So Jonathan knows his stuff.
But ….. His speech is insidious, and he keeps revisiting various topics, even though the podcast's frequency suggests he's reporting news.
(And the speed is also too low)
Anyway: stick to the news and someone else to read it.
I've tried a few times now, but I'm giving up.
All the best though.

A program focused on geopolitics, information warfare, and how narratives shape public opinion. Across recent episodes, it tends to unpack Kremlin propaganda, war narratives, and the role of media in conflict, with many conversations featuring war journalism, defense perspectives, and analyses of strategic communications. The show often blends rigorous episode-long interviews with practical calls to support Ukraine's defense and civil society, offering a mix of scholarly context, on-the-ground reporting, and policy implications. A notable edge is the willingness to scrutinize media framing and to connect cultural, political, and technological aspects of modern warfare, making it useful for listeners who want deeper understanding of how info... more
