Sifu Smith presents very high quality material...very few teachers I am aware of blend martial arts and meditation training so effectively. I learn something from every podcast that can be applied to my martial arts training and my life. I only regret I do not live in the Raleigh, NC area!
Sifu Smith is great to listen to. He has a very soothing voice, as well as a no-nonsense approach to internal martial arts. I've never met Sifu Smith, but would love to study push hands with him; that is, if I ever managed to be passing through North Carolina. The topics he discusses on this podcast range from updates about his kwoon, encouragements to his students, and some very deep discussions about Chinese martial arts and how to improve oneself and be a better person. more
This is a great podcast for those who are interested in the positive effects and applications of the martial arts outside of the dojo. The host has a very positive message. Definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the non-combative benefits of martial arts.
Wow. I just found these today and I feel like I hit the jackpot. Sifu Smith, what a generous service you are providing. Thank you so much. Beyond the wisdom and compassion you convey, the fact that you are providing these through a no-cost podcast conveys even more to me. It's not so easy to find consistent high quality instruction or content for free. Practically nothing is free anymore. more
Outstanding podcast, as well as its companion - KungFu Podcast. I listen regularly and fully appreciate the information and guidance as well as the work and dedication of Sifu Smith in putting it out. My only regret is not being in Raleigh to train with Sifu Smith to be both a better martial artist as well as a person. What an inspiration!
