  • This is supposed to he a science podcast, but it has become more about social commentary. Also, some of the science "reporting" lacks facts and just stokes fears.

  • I wish they had more science in this science podcast. Most of it is focused on the scientists and their personal stories.

  • I guess this is for people who aren't actually interested in/don't know much about science. The coverage here goes from basic to deeply questionable. Short but not sweet. It was pushed so much I gave it a few tries, and liked it less each time. (Note: I'm a Progressive, so it's not that...in fact, that's where some of my issues with the questionable coverage come from. It's just not up to the NPR standard.)

  • An amazing show that tries to give you everything they know and to be clear on risks, downsides and what is still unknown. They cover a lot of topics, from animals to viruses, all with great professionalism.

  • I'm a fan of this podcast, but I am extremely disappointed in the unscientific nature of this episode. You should have mentioned and quantified the fact that age and other confounding factors almost certainly mean that the death rate due to COVID-19 in Trump counties is less than 3 times that in non-Trump counties. I think you should publish and broadcast a follow up explaining how Simpson's Paradox can lead to erroneous conclusions. See Jeffrey Morris' blog at covid-datascience.com.

  • This is supposed to be a science podcast, but more and more it is some type of social commentary. Social commentary is fine, but it should have its own podcast.
