- Good info spoilt by terrible audio quality
Good content around important themes, but the host’s microphone/audio setup is so bad that the resulting audio is very unpleasant to listen to. Even the guests calling through on their mobiles or webcams have better audio. If you’re going to start a podcast, you need to invest in a good audio setup and understand recording levels. Even 20,000 yen (about $200) can get you a robust beginner’s mic and there are so many videos explaining how to record, mix and edit good audio. Very disappointing.
