原本家人希望她回家種檳榔。
很少喝咖啡的她，卻在日月潭種下800棵咖啡樹，她是花音咖啡莊園主高郁淳。她說：「咖啡，讓我真正靠近土地，也靠近人。」
從參與「台灣咖啡12強＋1日月潭邀請賽」、到「日月潭飲食生活節曬豆場」，她體會到：只追求冠軍，反而看不見土地的多樣與美好。每個產區、每位農人，都值得被看見。
為什麼要喝台灣咖啡？她的回答很簡單：「因為每一口，都喝得到土地。」阿里山的咖啡，帶有烏龍茶般的茶韻；日月潭的咖啡，則有著紅茶的溫柔。同樣的咖啡樹，因為生長的土地不同，就長出截然不同的風味。

忠恬在學校念的是社會學，畢業之後並不像大家預想的投身NPO、NGO組織。她嘗試跳脫同溫層，走上推廣風土飲食文化之路。在經歷了《好吃》副總編輯、《米通信》與《lá野植風味學》總編輯等工作之後，她也成為一個工作自由人，為許多在地品牌策展、設計不同的企劃、展現台灣各種風土產物特色，並且把它們帶向國際。
