  • Med Student in Australia

As a 1st year med student in Australia I came across this podcast in preparation for interviews in my application to study medicine. 12 months later I still listen to this podcast as it gives great insight from other medical students and junior doctors no matter the jurisdiction that they practice/study medicine.

  • Best medical podcast!

Absolutely wonderful podcast! Even though today I listened to my first ever BMJ Sharp Scratch podcast I can wholeheartedly say that this is probably one of the best podcasts out there. I’ve learnt so much just from one listening to one episode and now I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the episodes :)

Thank you so much for all your hard work in making this podcast, it is extremely beneficial for both aspiring medics & medics!

  • Great for students and Foundation doctors

I wish I knew about this podcast as a student as I was an ST3 when I found out and started listening to this. It was fun to listen to, to see what I thought in my medical school and foundation year days even if a lot of the information no longer applies to me, it helps me understand my juniors better. There is also a nice amount of humour which I like. The episodes are kind of long though.

  • Amazing and really helpful insights

I really enjoy the podcast and the members. I am a student in the UAE doing my clinicals and find the advice and strategies to tackle hospital work really helpful. I was wondering if you guys could have an episode on international medical graduates working in the UK as foundation doctors, as I think that would really helpful to people like who would like to work in the UK after graduating. Keep doing what you’re doing!
