Sam and Hess have fantastic chemistry, and their level of knowledge and experience is amazing but also not exclusionary. As a relatively new sewist (less than a year) it’s still been totally accessible and enjoyable for me. Definitely with a listen for anyone who likes sewing (and/or biscuits)
I absolutely loved it! The chemistry between the two of you is great. A fascinating topic, or should I say topics- different seam allowances is so confusing! I think the idea of a fabric stash was started by patchwork and quilters and was certainly a thing when I started making quilts back in the 80’s.
I’m now going to settle down with my sewing and listen to some back episodes! Thank you so much😊
This is my first sewing podcast I love the non judgmental and reassuring discussions (only listened to two so far). There’s loads of good advice and chat that made me smile whilst on one of my many train journeys!
Love listening to this- you bring fresh perspective not being talked about in the sewing community online!
Thank you so much Jess & Sam for these brilliant podcasts. I loved your latest one as it forced me to finally hack a couple of patterns to make the vest top I’ve been thinking about for a few weeks, and hunting for a pattern that I just haven’t been able to find/wanted to pay a fortune for!! I’m
Definitely going to do this more often…oh and I made a toile, which I rarely do, but really should do more often!! Thank you ladies xx
