This is a podcast that’s worth listening to. Niall brings positivity and real life Vietnam into the conversation.
There is an internationalist element with ex pats and Vietnamese born contributors. But it’s always exploring life and being balanced and uplifting. It shine a light into the country and at times neighbours. In a honest and warts and all manner. But with fun!
When preparing for a trip to the country the podcast was better than any book or online travel guide.

Niall and ‘Seven Million Bikes’ have smashed it since kicking off in Saigon - helped me with my own too! Give it a try, bunch of top guests 👍🏻
I’ve met Niall and heard him perform in Saigon, and I can vouch that he’s the nicest and funniest guy.
This podcast is a must listen and I only wish I had discovered in before I moved to Saigon myself. His content perfectly captures all the amazing energy and stories that make the city such an incredible place to live. I’m especially partial to the stories that bring listeners into the city’s different subcultures and scenes, such as the one with Pasteur Street’s head of sales.

Great podcast for an insight into life in Saigon. Everyone has their own different stories but are connected by their love for the city.
This podcast is great for someone considering moving to Saigon, someone who already lives there and wants a little reminder of why it’s so great, or someone, like me, who has left but misses it every day. The stories are wonderful, and I love the balance of expats and local Vietnamese interviews. I especially enjoy the few questions Niall asks everyone he interviews to add some consistency to the show. Looking forward to future episodes!
