Reviews

4.6 out of 5 stars from 16 ratings
  • Often really interesting, but please improve audio quality

I really like the content, details and information about current missions and discoveries.

Unfortunately, it’s more often than not really difficult to listen to and follow due to low recording quality. I understand that not all guests have good equipment, but the hosts could maybe invest a little to improve quality. For starters, that‘s possible for well below 100 bucks. ;-)

Orbital Oddity and Neptune: Resonant Object Hints at Planetary Migration
Q: Does this help us find Planet Nine?
This object doesn't provide constraints on the existence of Planet Nine, but it could offer insights based on the distribution of other objects.
Orbital Oddity and Neptune: Resonant Object Hints at Planetary Migration
Q: So what does this tell us about the evolution of our outer solar system?
The findings indicate significative interactions and migrations that have shaped the current structure of our solar system, hinting at potential new objects and resonances.
Orbital Oddity and Neptune: Resonant Object Hints at Planetary Migration
Q: How did your team design this, and what were the science goals motivated by the design?
The team focused on finding large inclination TNOs that are not easily discovered in typical surveys, aiming to address unanswered questions about their population.
A Vaporizing Planet: Why BD+05 4868 b is Turning to Dust
Q: Did it migrate in?
The planet likely underwent a migration process, possibly forming further out before being perturbed into its current orbit.
Mars’ Ancient Carbon Cycle: How Rocks on Mars Tell the Story of a Vanishing Climate
Q: How does this discovery change how we think about where to search for life on Mars?
We should focus on ancient rocks from periods when liquid water was flowing, as this was likely the last best chance for life on Mars.
