Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How does healing happen?
Q: You talked about understanding your spiritual nature. But I think some people listening may say, okay, but was God doing the healing, or was the thinking process, thinking it through, was that really what was going on there?
I honestly believe God did the healing because I just live with God every day. I just love God.
How does healing happen?
Q: Can you explain to me when that tennis coach said, well, you need to take the drugs, you need to get a massage, why you felt like it was incumbent upon you to work something out, instead of just saying, God's gonna take care of this?
You mean to actually pray and sort of do something about it? Yes. I think I said I got calm and still.
How does healing happen?
Q: Why did you need to get calm and still? And was that your activity or something else that was at work there?
That's one way I pray. So that is one definition of prayer for me, is getting calm and still, which helps to quiet the human mind filled with fears and worries.
How does healing happen?
Q: What do you mean when you say you think about God? What do you specifically mean?
I live with God. So like when I'm on the tennis court, I'll often have it just in the background of my thought.
Prayers from a war zone
Q: What would your message be to those who are praying about those conflicts and these situations around the world?
Ivan emphasizes that every thought and action can make a significant impact and not to underestimate the power of prayer.
