  • Improve Audio For Call In Guest

The interviews with David near the end of the show are very hard to hear and we look forward to that segment. The segment before that with the other radio host who focuses on sports... is clearer but is always our least favorite.

  • Please date the episodes

I find it frustrating that episodes are not dated. Less chatting and more real news. Can we still go to the dentist?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Ceasefire with Iran
Q: What is the key concern about the ceasefire extension?
Analysts say the extension is ambiguous, creating market uncertainty about future negotiations and oil flows, making it harder for the market to price risk.
The Trump Lawsuit Against the Wall Street Journal
Q: Remind us what this lawsuit centered around.
The lawsuit claimed the Wall Street Journal defamed Trump by publishing a birthday scrapbook page alleging a signed letter and drawing of a naked woman, which Trump said was false and defamatory.
The Flucuating Price of Gasoline
Q: Is there any good news in sight to return to normal?
The guest suggests that while the ceasefire provides a channel for diplomacy, it is unlikely to resolve the underlying tensions quickly, and normalization of prices may take time as the region remains unstable and shipping through key chokepoints is still in flux.
The Rising Unemployment Rate in Washington
Q: What does the unemployment data say about Washington?
Washington's unemployment rate has risen to 5%, the highest since the pandemic period, with hiring cooling and some layoffs, though the overall job market isn't portrayed as collapsing.
The Latest Threats in Iran
Q: How seriously should we be taking this deadline from the president?
Analysts suggest taking the deadline seriously due to past behavior, but emphasize that the ultimate outcome depends on the administration's end goals and whether an off-ramp or escalation is chosen depending on domestic costs like gas prices.
