An easy listen although not sure if they are planning on doing podcasts for the 2025-26 season. David Seaman does wing it (not much prep and tip toes around anything controversial), and I do miss Lindy Hooper and the original gang.
This show has continued to grow and get better with a good cast of characters. Lindy Hooper is the real star and a breath of fresh air. In truth, David Seamsn tends to wing it so relies on the team for facts and data, but I do enjoy stories from his playing days.
I had written this a while ago, so I must say, the new format is not as good without her.
The show’s content is entertaining enough, but the volume is too low. I usually listen to podcasts while exercising, and this show is just too quiet to play.
Tries too hard to be impartial. Doesn’t understand that the game has changed since he played. A bit like Lee Dixon on NBC. They gripe about Arsenal as if they have no affiliation. Seaman complained about Bukayo protesting about almost getting his leg broken, seriously? It’s moronic. Find it hard to take despite my reverence for Seaman as an Arsenal fan!
