Found this show while I was on my first watch of The X-Files. I was so excited when they announced they were following TXF with Buffy, as I had just finished my first watch of it! Ella and Amanda are so funny, and I love that they don’t take the shows too seriously (like some podcasts do). I look forward to the new eps every week!
Followed these girls from ScullyNation. I'm not even really a Buffy fan, but they are so entertaining I just had to continue listening to them for my weekly laugh
Why aren’t there any episodes in the feed????
I have laughed out loud so many times while listening to this podcast. I have been a fan of the XFiles since it originally aired and have rewatched it multiple times, but they have pointed out things I missed. Critical thinking and bonkers creative fun plus a real love of the show and each other. It’s a perfect blend!
I can’t say enough great things about this podcast! I’ve been relistening on my miserable winter commute and it actually makes me look forward to it 😂. Five alien head emojis for sure 👽👽👽👽👽!

High-spirited analyses of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in chronological order, delivered with playful banter and deep-dive observations. The hosts balance character-driven moments, monster-of-the-week thrills, and 90s pop culture nostalgia, often highlighting early season tensions, romance, friendship dynamics, and genre-blending humor. A distinguishing feature is their mix of sharp commentary, recurring segments (like fashion or behind-the-scenes tidbits), and a welcoming vibe that makes both new viewers and long-time fans feel at home. The show also nods to a broader catalog of genre TV, including a past focus on The X-Files, which adds cross-title context for crossover fans and sponsors seeking a broader sci-fi/horror audience.
