  • It’s Jazz

I found this podcast when looking for stuff on Daniel Blumberg. DM has to be the most modest, self effacing genius. He thinks differently and as a result he attracts amazing musicians to collaborate with him.

I found it interesting how his reflective way or speaking rubbed off on the interviewers. They responded to his pace. A bit like jazz.

He doesn’t blow his own trumpet, probably why he’s an amazing composer and not in the brass section.

  • “More” Score?

I used to really enjoy this podcast. But they’ve completely abandoned it in favor of the paid version “More Score.” It feels weird to have something called More Score when the actual Score podcast doesn’t exist anymore. I hope they go back to producing episodes of Score The Podcast and turn More Score back to the thing it was intended to be - bonus material and additional interviews to supplement the free podcast.

  • Disappointed Huge Fan with Hope

I am a huge fan of the show for sure. The guests are amazing. I’ve mostly enjoyed the hosts when they dive deep into the heads, processes and passions that help us understand the people behind the music, their personal and professional lives, inspirations, gear, and studio life. However, since we are now paying for this podcast, there seems to be less and less each month in regards to the rich content that they once offered, both in frequency and length. Also, they may have pioneered this topic ... more

  • My favorite podcast!!

I stumbled into this podcast, and it has quickly become my favorite!! I am a fan of movie scores, and each episode has intrigued me, even when I am not at all familiar with the episode guest. Every guest has a unique story, background and perspective, and the show hosts bring it all to the air. I cherry picked episodes at first—now I am going back and catching up on all seasons, not skipping a single one!!

    Keep up the great show!!
