  • Great show!

I love this show! Nicole and Sasheer make me teehee every week, and the guests are always fantastic. My only thing is… has it always had this many 3-5 minute ad breaks?

  • My favorite

I love this podcast so much! I seriously adore these two women and I love how they love each other. There are very few podcasts that make me belly laugh like this one does and in a climate where there is so much to be sad and scared about, the things that bring joy are so precious. Thanks for sharing your awesome personalities and friendship with the world. Let the sun shine in or whatever Nicole said!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Nicole and Sasheer are the Stripe Sisters
Q: Hi Nicole and Sasheer, what's your advice on letting friends in a bit more when you've had traumatic events?
Be direct but considerate: share that you're going through something and that you value them, suggest a specific way to connect (a call, text, or in-person chat) and acknowledge that you're not always able to share everything at once.
Sasheer Snap Crackle Pops
Q: Should I have a milkshake?
The hosts joke about treating themselves and then pivot to discussing daily life, implying there's no strict rule against a simple treat when appropriate.
Sasheer’s Ripple Effect
Q: What should you do if you have to attend a former coworker's wedding with a limited guest list and anxious feelings?
Go if you can manage the anxiety, consider practicing small solo outings to acclimate to public settings, and remember you can leave early if needed; the key is to show up and be present, not avoid the moment entirely.
Nicole’s a Cutie
Q: Hi Nicole and Sasheer. I have a friendship query about unfriending a long-time friend who seems unable to engage mutual communication.
The hosts suggest clarifying needs and boundaries, possibly using a voice note to express the shift in dynamics, and to seek a group setting before finalizing a one-on-one cut to maintain care and avoid drama; if necessary, communicate directly and honestly about needing space while acknowledging the history and potential for a softer disengagement.
Nicole’s Quest to Dance in the Dark
Q: Hi, Nicole and Sasheer. Longtime listener and fan... Could you provide some insight on the positive slash negative differences you've experienced when comparing New York and LA?
They discuss culture shock, opportunities, community, and the tradeoffs between big-city life in New York vs LA, emphasizing that moves aren't permanent and one can always reassess.
