  • What is happening?

I miss the old podcast since they returned it’s not the same. Feels like two friends who have grown apart and are forced to make a podcast together. She focuses on food and has episodes where the whole time is spent on a search for lasagna what on earth? Sasheer doesn’t even engage anymore (would you?) the whole act is kinda dumb. Maybe I just outgrew Nicole’s style of com... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Sasheer is a Daring Soul
Q: Why is it bothering me so much that my friend Jill might be cheating?
It's hard to watch a friend you care about act immorally, and you may also feel connected to her husband too, making it a messy situation.
Sasheer is a Daring Soul
Q: What would you do in my situation?
Focus on trying to reestablish intimacy rather than jumping straight to bringing up an open relationship, and suggest ways to rebuild intimacy gradually.
Sasheer Has 20/20 Vision
Q: Should I suck it up and attend Christmas with my partner's ex present?
You could show up for a short time to keep the peace for the kids while still finding time for your own celebrations afterward.
Sasheer Has 20/20 Vision
Q: How should I address feeling targetted in my friend group when joking around?
You may want to have a conversation with the group about the dynamics of joking and how it affects you, suggesting a shift towards positive humor instead.
Nicole and Sasheer have Shared Hat Language (w/ Aparna Nancherla)
Q: Hopeful Potato, is there a story behind it?
It's a line from a joke in the special, but then I also talk about in the special how I took a long break from stand up.
