I was hoping for a bit more science that underpins the conclusions offered here. As a citizen scientist I appreciate not getting nerdy with the science but would like to get some science as the foundation for the conclusions. Would also like to hear from the original scientists rather than one reporter reading a scripted questions and another reading scripted answers. They don’t sound like science reporters – just podcasters.
Great podcast but the ground water interview with Josh Jascheko (misspelled) he mentions Saudi Arabia cutting out alfalfa crops to dave water. What he left out is they have now bought land in the USA & are wasting our ground water for their cattle.
As someone who is listening from outside the US, I find the amount of the podcast devoted to whinging about funding and various other political concerns extremely irritating. Unsubscribed.
Best science overview and interviews with scientists
