Good banter, good chemistry, and a lot of tv/film content = a solid podcast. If you're a fan of SF/F media, especially of the current variety, this show will certainly give you a lot of commentary to ponder. The hosts clearly enjoy chatting with one another, and that leads to some great banter and conversations that aren't just "about the thing." For me, that's actually half of the fun, because I get something that wouldn't translate well to other mediums such as the written form. more
This is a great podcast, I really enjoy the chemistry between the 3 hosts and that you all revel in Geekdom without getting too nerdy about it. But... ok, no more buts. They have been doing a good job of releasing episodes more frequently recently. Good job folks!
I have recently & belatedly started listening to these "reviews" of TV shows & movies. Maybe because of my age and or long-term TV & historical, etc. knowledge, I find these often approaching a vacuous content. It's like a stream of consciousness discussion with minimum knowledge imparted. Perhaps they would STRONGLY benefit from a re-watch with a notepad. (To be fair some other similar shows are MUCH worse - I believe SCIFI Watcher is poor too because it foolishly seems proud that it does some... more
