Nothing like throwing an entire metropolitan area under the bus because of the racist comments of one person towards an elected official. I’ll repeat, an elected official. If this was “the Mississippi of the south” she would not be our mayor. Racism should never be tolerated, but neither should we categorize an entire population based on the behavior of one or a few or even several people. He’s an outlier which is evidenced by our mayors election.

Love listening to this podcast on my way to or from work. It’s the perfect length and catches me up on the important news headlines as well as dive deeper into topics I don’t know as much about. I always learn something! I also like the diversity in topics and the people interviewed.
I've always liked this podcast, but the new format is exceptionally great! I love the news bites at the top of the show, the interviews with reporters, and the inclusion of insight from the editorial board.
