I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year - the guests bring good experience and informative perspectives and the hosts are great. I like their recap at the end of every episode
As a sailor but one with maybe ~5 yrs experience on my own boat, I usually take away 1-2 interesting useful facts per episode, eg height limit on ICW, reviews of new ports I don’t know (Wickford, RI, Oriental NC…). The hosts are decent if not the most thrilling. It’s easy to consume and informative (but not like deep tutorials, so far). I pick and choose the past episodes of interest.

Thanks for having me on, really enjoyed talking with you!
If you have more than 3-5 years of experience this podcast is a WoT. Silly beginners discussions for the most part. The cohost lacking saioo lol inc experience needs or be dropped. Adds no value. some guests ok, but hearing about some inexperienced sailor bringing his Hunter down the coast is laughable at best.

A practical, veteran-led show exploring sailing and coastal cruising along the East Coast, with a strong emphasis on hands-on tips, safety, and real-world sailing experiences. Episodes cover historical maritime stories, solo and offshore racing, cruising logistics, and rescue and first-aid considerations, often blending technical guidance with personal narratives. Notable angles include non-professional participation in iconic events, cross-Atlantic journeys, and community-building within sailing clubs. The format tends to mix expert guests, practical how-tos, and audience-driven topics, making it helpful for both aspiring mariners and long-time cruisers seeking context, safety insights, and inspirational stories.
