Another excellent podcast about the Camino. The topics, host and guests are all interesting and they convey what it is like to walk the Camino de Santiago. Highly recommended.
Excellent and deeply Christian with lots of good practical advice for preparation and packing. A great discovery
My favorite are the interview episodes so far! And learning people’s stories.
The actual content and choice of people interviews are interesting, and the actual conversations enjoyable and pack in a lot of great information. The big ‘minus’ is the music and voice you’re bombarded with at the intro/ending. For something called ‘sacred steps,’ you’d think something less grating and annoying would've been chosen. Big turn-off. I really just wanted to listen to Guy Hayward of the British pilgrimage trust so thank goodness you can skip the grating parts.
I have to say - not being able to walk the Camino this year because of COVID really got to me. I found this podcast and it’s been an absolutely wonderful way to stay connected to the Camino spirit. BUEN CAMINO, PEREGRINOS!

The show centers on pilgrimage journeys, especially the Camino de Santiago, blending personal narratives with practical guides, author interviews, and updates from the pilgrimage world. Episodes mix travel tips, reflections on grief and identity, and behind-the-scenes looks at Camino-inspired fiction and publishing, often linking walking routes to broader life themes, culture, and language learning. A recurring strength is weaving heartfelt storytelling with actionable advice—whether planning a hot-weather trek, discussing new Camino-related novels, or promoting independent publishing—creating a thoughtful space for travelers, readers, and spiritual explorers alike.
