Love this series! Started learning Latin, so I wanted to learn more about the Roman Empire and particularly the decline. When I stumbled across this podcast, I immediately became hooked, so thank you for your humorous approach to learning! Carpe Diem!
I have been listening to this for the last two years and it has sparked such an interest in ancient history. The hosts are funny and silly at times, but so much information in every episode without being boring!
Guys are hilarious, every episode makes me laugh out loud at least once. I wish I had two teachers who liked history and entertaining as much as these two. Finished all of the American presidents series and the first 10 emperors, I’m loving it! Keep it up.
I was so happy to see the Roman Series come back after all the Eastern emperors were ranked. The approach combining history with humor, with understated real-time context, helps this American listener cope with our current troubles. I love the Presidents series too, and the patreon content is excellent. Please keep on with the Holy Roman Empire so I don’t dread the series ending too much!
Love listening to Rob and Jamie they keep me company working from home. more
