The players and GM are really enjoying themselves. It is fun to listen to, natural gameplay, and storytelling.
Roll the Bones is a D&D podcast that keeps things moving. Unlike Critical Role, which can be fun but often spends a lot of time on side chatter and long sessions, Roll the Bones gets right to the action. The roleplay is still solid, but the story and battles move at a good pace, so you’re not stuck waiting forever for something to happen. It’s great if you enjoy D&D but want a show that’s easy to follow and doesn’t eat up half your day.
As any ensemble and story premise, it takes a minute. But then they congeal and flow and the characters carry the story. And now side quests! Woo Hoo!!!
