Roll Britannia is a British DnD 5e comedy actual play about pirates, heists, and very questionable plans that somehow work. Story first, jokey, rules light, with sharp improv, punchy combat, and a big warm found family vibe. If you like British comedy, Dungeons and Dragons, and seafaring shenanigans that keeps paying off, you’re in the right place.

Love the setting and love the fun the guys are clearly having. Great story and well played by all
Love this show and have been here since the beginning.
The show has always been entertaining but just recently it’s been so frustratingly slow like it took a whole episode to put some armour on get in a box and walk down a single corridor! With that and twice the amount of advertising it’s getting painful to listen to
Love this and good fun also don’t hear many British dnd podcasts or non American ones
Probably one of the funniest dnd podcasts out there filled with unusual scrapes and many many puns! Probably on a par with Hat Films’ Booty in terms of being occasionally lewd but also hilarious and the focus certainly seems to be on comedy rather than storytelling. The chemistry between the group is absolutely fantastic and the pacing is fairly relaxed so they make the most of humorous moments given to them by the dm!
There are a few unusual things like a dm that does certain dice roles instea... more

A gem of a podcast: innovative storytelling, immense world building, unnecessary punctuation (nope, that's just this review), in all a treat for your ears. Go on, you know you want to...

Roll Britannia combines long-form D&D 5e campaigns with sharp, British-style humor and chaotic, character-driven banter. Episodes weave pirate adventures, heists, courtroom moments, and pop-culture callbacks into a warm, family-like vibe where improvisation and story take the front seat. Listeners tend to praise the chemistry among the crew, the approachable rules-light feel, and the ongoing humor; there are occasional notes about pacing or ads, but the show remains a go-to for fans of lighthearted, story-led actual plays with strong personalities and memorable gags.
A standout element is the consistently strong ensemble chemistry and a recurring sense of community (and inside jokes) that makes it easy to binge. Its unique blend of nautica... more
