This podcast is like going to a wake. Completely dull, they didn’t invest in good microphones and are boring as eff. If you want to hear your busboy at Applebees talk about a movie they saw yesterday I highly recommend.
Love listening to this show with my kept woman
A lot of people know a lot about music. A lot of people know a lot about films. But not a lot of people know a lot about both. Dave and Andrew are two such people. The hosts do an excellent job of keeping the music snob in me interested, while still making it a good listen for the casual fan. It’s also a really good listen, even if you haven’t seen or don’t plan to see the film they’re discussing. Highly recommended!
And um, and um, and um
I find it surprising that you could both talk as long as you had about Rolling Thunder Review and not once mention No Direction Home, which is a far superior doc in every way, IMO. On that note, I’d love to hear an episode dedicated to NDH.
