Nerdy facts, great clips and cool rock and roll vibes
This show is awesome. I started listening to this show in early 2021. This show has turned me onto many bands including, Starz, Angel, Piper, Trigger & Thin Lizzy to name a few. Thanks BJ for that.
I really miss this podcast and wish it would come back. I really enjoyed the unpretentious and unselfconscious love for music.
One of my favorite music podcasts. So much great music in past episodes. I recommend checking out any episodes available... Pagliaro, power pop, Cheap Trick, Soul Asylum, Wildhearts, so many more. BJ is incredibly knowledgeable about the music he is passionate about and makes for a great time listening with some laughs

This show leans into deep-dive explorations of rock history, especially niche or under-discussed corners like early heavy scenes, collector-focused discographies, and the business of keeping rare records visible. Episodes blend careful track-by-track analysis, archival anecdotes, and context around production, label histories, and cultural reception. A standout trait is the emphasis on provenance, price lore, and the collector's mindset—appealing to fans who crave rigor, rare finds, and thoughtful storytelling about the music through decades.
