Welcome to the podcast. I’m Rob Watson, an ex-pro marathoner with a 2:13:29 personal best (pre-super shoes), 11th place finisher at the 2013 Boston Marathon, and 20th at the World Championships in Moscow that same year. Nowadays, I’m a coach with Mile2Marathon and generally just a big running nerd.
On this show, we dive into all things running, with the occasional detour into cycling and triathlon... more

This is such a great podcast for running and endurance content. Not only do they have great guests and highlight the Vancouver running scene well, but they also give a really good range of perspectives as athletes and as a coach. The training talks are my favourite part and it’s really cool to hear them recap races that I’ve been a part of. They tell it like it is, but are always looking for the silver lining when things go sideways. If you’re looking for relatable, inspiring and hilarious runni... more
I enjoy the weekly rambling of Shan and Rob about running and life around it. Rob’s interview with Rory L. was great, a lengthy casual discussion between 2 great Canadian runners!
Rob and Shannon are great! As a M2M Vancouver runner it’s fun to hear about local news and training as well as the Olympic coverage and talking to other runners!
Really fun podcast. They have a great dynamic (I like the tangents!) and often have interesting guests with great discussion. Definitely on my podcast rotation now.
For a guy that runs alone and finds windows in my day to get my run in, I miss the run groups talks, but Rob and Shanimal closes the gap and enjoy the running talks they have; even when they they go off on a tangent on non running topics.
