  • Top quality commentary

Mihingarangi Forbes is one of the best interviewers, she’s right across whatever issues are on the agenda, & keeps the show moving. I love the new format with the deep interview on a critical topic at the beginning of the show followed by discussion. Great stuff! This might be my favourite political commentary show/podcast in Aotearoa.

  • Good wānanga

Been a fan of this podcast for quite a while, enjoying the differing perspectives from the old boys on the current events. Gotta say that Dan Bidois seems out of his depth in comparison to Tau Henare - missing Tau’s whakaaro in comparison to Dan’s meandering and vagueness but I guess this is to be expected of someone with such a short and unsuccessful tenure in politics. Still a fan and will keep listening but definitely looking forward to Tau’s return!

  • Perfection

If there is only time to listen to one Aotearoa politics podcast, this is the to pick. Mihingarangi, Shane and Tau are a tour de force. Every episode is brilliant, considered and packed with wit. Tau’s Game of Thrones analogies are the icing of a very delicious cake. This is one podcast not to miss.
