  • The memory and comfort of food

These podcasts are little treasures. I particularly love the intros and try to imagine what it must be like for Ruthie's guests to hear these thoughtful and meaningful summaries spoken to them across the table. Episode after episode Ruthie explores the role of food in the lives of her guests, and shows how talking about food brings out so much more.

  • Tuesday Treat … !

I sometime’s I forget it’s Tuesday, then see a new episode with child like joy. Ive never eaten at The River Cafe, on a trip to London this year I did look to book, however it was a little out of my budget (maybe next time!) Delightful, insightful, educational and just a really nice listen as I go about life. Thank you!

  • From Australia

Fantastic stories of interesting guests childhood meals, cooking experiences and comfort food which always highlights to me mostly how similar, yet sometimes, how different our approach to cooking and eating can be. Ruthie is a wonderful and humble host. Fascinating!
