An amazing resource of anti-imperialist perspectives.
Finding podcasts about internationalism (or even global politics) from a Marxist perspective has been a challenge. On a whim, I searched “Bandung” and found this podcast. Brilliant guests, nuanced discussion, important (yet often ignored) topics, and a host who is an excellent interviewer - this is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, Pranay!
Surprisingly and delighted to have found this; a growing resource exploring the unwinding ( and rewinding ) of the imperial era from the heady independence period of post WW2 and Cold War.
Aligned / non-aligned. : 1st, 2nd, 3rd world ; developed and developing world; the West and the global south: colonialism and neo-colonialism.
A deep dive into the history that affects us all today.
Highly recommend.
Thank you for keeping the Bandung spirit alive, and reminding us of the important history of the New International Economic Order and the Non-aligned Movement.
