Great podcast.
…. Not! Chris and Eric are hilarious without being obnoxious. Their humor is intelligent and grounded in ultra-gamer-nerd stuff that elder millennials like myself really appreciate! I think this might be my first podcast I’m considering becoming a patron of! Hope they do an SMT game soon! Would love to hear their thoughts on Digital Devil Saga or SMTIII Nocturne! Game on!
A gem of a podcast. Eric and Chris have some of the best chemistry on-mic you'll hear. The FakeNet did NOT put me up to this review....

A long-running, in-depth critique of classic JRPGs, delivered as warm, humorous, and very detailed chapter-by-chapter analyses. The show emphasizes narrative lore, character dynamics, game systems, and soundtrack hooks, often weaving in personal anecdotes and pop-culture riffs. While the focus shifts across titles, the host duo's chemistry, steady pace, and willingness to chase tangents make it accessible for both long-time fans and newcomers exploring retro JRPGs. A notable hallmark is treating lore and themes—destiny, agency, and mortality—as ongoing conversation fodder rather than mere recap, with a playful 'FakeNet/RealNet' commentary texture that keeps discussions lively and community-driven.
