I’ve listened to this pod a few episodes & recently went back to the 1st episode. Not sure if it’s because it was the 1st episode but the reactions of the hosts came off a bit pretentious. Did they hire lawyers and accountants to help with taxes in their new country? Didn’t they still have to pay Medicare premiums? Could they manage the new country’s bureaucracy without knowing the local language? If they are trying to learn the local language what is the cost of classes and how long a process is it?

You present everything so thoroughly while keeping the dialogue casual and fun, like a conve... more
