惠善來自韓國，屬真耶穌教會釜山教會。她在韓國就讀大學時，選擇了中文系。畢業後，她卻找不到有關華語的工作。一天，教會的姊妹告訴她聯合總會在徵召世界宣道志工，她非常心動。後來，她原本計畫到中國學習華語，但是在長老的建議下，她來到台灣就讀淡江大學。其實這一切都是她為了到世界傳道做準備，然而當韓國傳道人知道了她的計畫後，為她帶來了一個美好的消息……。 （Afra‧艾芙菈 摘要）
民國80年，在德國讀書的大女兒明琴寫信到真耶穌教會台灣總會。真耶穌教會新營教會的弟兄姊妹遂到松雄與大玉的家中訪問。曾經接觸過許多宗教的大玉，發現真耶穌教會與先前所信仰過的宗教有明顯的不同，除了聖經道理美好之外，她也才初次知道這個「敬拜神」的宗教。接受洗禮後，她也開始將福音傳給先生，邀請先生參加聚會。松雄對於信仰的態度，非常開放，他認為只要是正派的信仰，家人想信都可以，但自己並沒有對「真耶穌教會」感興趣，但當他帶著「拜訪」的心情來到教會時，卻意外得到了令他十分深刻的回憶......。（艾芙菈 摘要... more
回憶起兒時，賴英夫長老悠悠的說：「如果不是這樣顛沛流離的生活，我應該沒有機會認識耶穌。」有一天，奶奶對著牆上貼著的觀音畫像膜拜時，總是笑口常開的鄰居婆婆正好來到家裡，婆婆問：「為什麼不是拜一尊的偶像而是畫像呢？」奶奶回答因為家中時常搬家，畫像最為便利。婆婆又說：「這樣啊。那是被畫的觀音比較偉大呢？還是畫觀音的人比較偉大呢？」這個問題敲醒了賴長老一家。 （艾芙菈 摘要）
