Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep 50 | My Partner Hates My Best Friend
Q: Dear Roses, my partner hates my best friend. Do I push them to spend more time together or accept that they'll never click?
I wouldn't push them to spend more time together; that's likely to backfire. It's better to accept that they may not click and manage interactions to keep the peace, and give space if needed.
Ep 46 | Is Screenshotting a Private Chat a Friendship Dealbreaker?
Q: Is screenshotting a private chat a friendship dealbreaker?
They acknowledge that screenshot notifications are new and context-dependent; if there's a history of trust, a one-off accident might be forgivable, but repeated or malicious actions should prompt a serious discussion and boundary-setting.
Ep 42 | Dear Roses, Is It Normal to Lose Attraction in a Relationship?
Q: Dear Roses, my partner is amazing, but I don't find him physically attractive anymore. Do I wait for it to come back or is that a sign something's off?
Bradley and Sophia suggest it may reflect a broader connection issue rather than just physical attraction; they encourage talking openly, exploring shared time, therapy if needed, and not jumping to conclusions about appearance alone.
Ep 30 | Dear Roses: Two Boyfriends, One Lie, and Zero Sleep
Q: What do I do if I feel exhausted all the time, even though my life looks fine on paper?
It's advisable to reassess your priorities and investigate the underlying reasons for your feelings of burnout, as it's essential to balance work and personal life.
Ep 26 | Our Housekeeper Saw Sophia Naked… and It Was Awkward (Plus: Sex, Parenting & Your Other Questions)
Q: How does sex change after kids?
In the beginning, it can be scary and involves emotional hurdles, especially for women feeling uncertain about their bodies postpartum.
