I stumbled across this podcast several years ago and it has become a favorite. Megan Torgerson grew up on a farm/ranch in rural Montana. She has spent the past few years documenting the issues, people, history and unique characteristics of the rural west. She brings to me voices I would never hear and highlights the difficulties of economic sustainability. This is a nuanced and balanced podcast that takes you into communities.
this is a VITAL talk that our producers need to be having now, but listening to the families’ stories is so interesting too. I love the people & stories in ag & this is done so well.
I started listening to Megan’s podcast earlier this year, and I was INSTANTLY hooked on the premise! Listening to this podcast reminds me of home, and I am thankful for that—Give the Pod... more
